On April 4, Surface and ISSEY MIYAKE USA Corp. held a party for the opening of the SymbiosisO: Voxel interactive installation at the brand’s New York flagship tribeca ISSEY MIYAKE. Sipping cocktails from local distillery White Pike Whiskey and nibbling on sweets from Lady M Confections, guests marveled at the electronic silk-and-ink textile by artists Eszter Ozsvald, Kärt Ojavee, and Alex Dodge. Among those in attendance were Project No. 8’s Brian Janusiak, Museum of Arts and Design curator Ron Labaco, designer David Nosanchuk, and photographer Bela Borsodi.
